All ages. Emergency food at every location as well as opportunities for clothing and other daily living items
People’s Community University
Provides a series of classes including communication skills, healthy living and nutrition, budgeting, basic computer technology, HiSET preparation, job search and job retention, energy conservation, financial literacy and much more.
Adult Case Management
We provide support for all life barriers keeping them from accomplishing their goals in life.
Anger Management
Participants learn effective communication, self-awareness, and stress management to prevent anger outbursts in a supportive environment.
HireSmart
A job readiness training program to help prepare youth and adults (16-24 years of age) to obtain employment and acquire marketable skills.
Adult Employment Training
We provide certified skills training, coaching for career planning, resume writing, interview skills training, and job search.
Computer Technology Center
Free computer lab services offered to clients for job searches, skill training, resource referrals, and business plan development.
Energy Assistance
Utility assistance as private community resources and work with utility companies that provide matching funds to persons who are willing to commit to affordable timely payments.
Youth Services
Individual and group counseling, College Connection (high school aged), Summer Discover Camp (6-13 years of age), and On the Money St. Louis (14-24 years of age).
R.E.A.L.L. Simulation
Simulation that gives youth the opportunity to experience a life of both reactive and proactive choices to help draw conclusions about decision making.
Poverty Simulation
Simulation designed to sensitize people to the realities that low-income people face daily.
Financial Literacy
Collaboration with community resources to help ensure that low-income residents have access to bank accounts, credit repair and financial education, and financial coaching needed to reach their goals.
100 Neediest Cases
Partnership with United Way of Greater St. Louis on the 100 Neediest Cases program. Eligible families may receive a check from the United Way and/or gifts from donors as determined by United Way.
