  • PCAC offers classes in a variety of areas to help clients improve their life skills, financial empowerment, employment options, and educational opportunities.

    NOTE: Classes have not been offered recently due to the Covid pandemic. Look for classes to begin again in late 2022/early 2023.

  • A job readiness internship and training program to help prepare youth and adults (16-24 years of age) to obtain employment and acquire marketable skills

    • In school mentoring
    • College Connection (high school aged)
      • Virtual and in person college tours
      • College selection mentoring
      • Assistance applying for financial assistance and scholarships
    • Camp Discovery summer camp (6-13 years of age)
    • On the Money financial empowerment and education (14-24 years of age)
  • Free computer lab services offered to clients for job searches, skill training, resource referrals, and business plan development. Available at our 6827 South Broadway and 4236 Lindell locations.

  • PCAC works with private donors and utility company programs to provide assistance for those behind on their electric and gas bills.

    • Eligibility varies from program to program
    • PCAC participants with incomes higher than 125% of poverty may be eligible
    • Funding is not always available so it’s best to call before visiting an office to see what funding is available
  • Food, hygiene, and clothing assistance are available at some PCAC locations.

      • Open 9-2 Monday-Friday
      • Requires full registration with PCAC
      • Emergency distribution available one time prior to registration
    • Food distributions on semi-regular basis
      • 5701 Delmar location
      • Requires partial registration

  • Partnership with United Way of Greater St. Louis on the 100 Neediest Cases program

    • Eligible families may receive a check from the United Way and/or gifts from donors as determined by United Way
    • The application process happens during the late summer months
